I was reminded this past week of the importance of teaching young people the right values. Most of us are familiar with the Bible story of the prodigal son. Our Lord shares with us in Luke 15:11-32 the story of a son who left his father in pursuit of a lifestyle that left him lost, confused, and wanting nothing more than a restored relationship with his father. At Beth Eden we teach our young people not just academic subjects, but challenge them to take on God’s values as their own so they don’t suffer the consequences of pursuing the wrong things.
